Patients and NURTuRE
NURTuRE has always worked closely with the kidney patient community, from their pivotal role in making this resource possible to active involvement in the running of NURTuRE. We would like to thank everyone who has been involved so far, and look forward to involving many more individuals in the future.
Kidney patients are represented in the governance of NURTuRE including key roles on the NURTuRE Strategy Group overseeing all applications to use NURTuRE data and samples. This means that those living with kidney disease are actively involved in reviewing all applications to NURTuRE, ensuring all projects are designed to benefit the kidney patient community.
Collaboration in decision making
We work with a wide range of experts, including those with lived experience, throughout the NURTuRE programme. This will help us to ensure that we support relevant, acceptable research designed to benefit the kidney patient community.
